What are Forms?
Forms, or in Excel-speak, UserForms, are a way of providing a graphical user interface with text fields, labels, buttons, checkboxes, and many other elements rather than an intimidating spreadsheet consisting of cells and formula bars. Userforms are the way you present applications to the end user, by limiting the types of input and how their input is processed. There are elements that can be activated right on the spreadsheet, the most popular being a button, but creating a UserForm as a user interface to a spreadsheet requires some knowledge of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). All the Microsoft Office products have some type of UserForm and VBA, however there are some differences between products.
